This comprehensive high school will eventually house 2,500 students. Phase I will house 1,300 students and will include the administration, library/media center, lecture hall, gymnasium, and a three story academic tower. The unique feature of the school is the enclosed student union. This was executed by putting a roof across what would have been space between two buildings. The weather can get fairly warm in the area so the large enclosed area can be an escape from the heat.

This project will house 2,500 students and includes an administration building, 2 gymnasiums, 3 academic wings, visual and performing arts area including an 800 seat, state of the art theater and a food court. The design team was able to create a student union space between two buildings. The team worked closely with the state architect to use the "mall concept" in the code. A large expansive covered area now functions as a multi-use space as well as a lobby extension for the gymnasium and theater.

They are able to partner with businesses in the area to give the students real world experience. The business professionals support by participating in teaching seminars and internships. They are gaining a great work experience to prepare them for their future technical career. The project includes a metal shop and wood shop that make up 5,400 square feet of the building. There are two classroom spaces that service the shop areas and an outdoor covered shop area for larger projects.
